Due to a high demand in SKE this year and reduced funding from DfE - we are unable to provide SKE courses for any new students at universities or schools that do not themselves draw down SKE funding.
We can only provide SKE courses for the following institutions:
Please do not submit an application to us unless you have a conditional ITT offer with one of the the above ITT providers.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics are all eligible subjects in that they attract funding from DfE for both programme funding and the training bursary.
At Eureka Online College, we recognise that there will inevitably be cross over content, and so if you were enrolled onto a Biology SKE course, you might need some help with chemistry e.g. in order to understand the chemical reactions in respiration and photosynthesis. You might also need help with understanding electricity, when studying nerves or how the heart beats.
For this reason, our science trainees are given access to all 3 subjects, and where necessary this crossover content could be added to and formally made a part of their SKE course, and therefore supported via online lessons and course tutor feedback.
We have expanded the content on all 3 of the science SKE subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and offer the full range of SKE course lengths, from 8 to 28 weeks in length.
